Beauty schools (in my area) are different from Aveda because…..
Comparing any other school to The Aveda Institute is like comparing an eagle to a pigeon. One is simply more intriguing than the other. Aveda is like the Marines of hair. They give the strength and skills needed to really grasp and understand the concept at hand: hair (as well as many other useful skills.)

Other institutes may seem ok, but is your future just OK to you? Do you see yourself being an average Joe hair stylist? Or do you see yourself being an AVEDA stylist. Really sort out the Pros and Cons of this type of comparison. Because when it comes to your career, you can’t settle for less.


1. Staff, Aveda’s faculty and staff all together are more than you need to help you. Not because they have to, but because they actually want to. At Aveda you will feel the warmth and love endlessly from everybody. They really care about you, your future, and your opinions.  At “other” institutes there is no way they can come close to matching how many people at Aveda are truly there to guide you.

2. Discipline, Who said that you can’t have fun and enjoy your school environment while still obtaining the discipline you need? At Aveda, they strive and go out of there way to make sure your prepared for this industry with a smile. They share the necessary knowledge of strength while not making you wish you hadn’t come to school. You will want to come to school! And that’s a good feeling!

3. Skills, At Aveda, you are the cream of the crop. You walk into any salon and say “Yes, I graduated from Aveda.” And I guarantee you will have uplifting feed back. You learn not just about hair, but about your environment, beauty, nails and the world we live in. Aveda is the most up to date institute I’ve ever attended. They give you the classic skills that have been passed down from our founding hair fathers, to the newly found discoveries we find every day.

Honestly, Aveda is life changing. For the better good of today, tomorrow, and years to come. I live my life with Peace, Love, and Aveda.
