My favorite day so far at the Aveda South Florida institute was my first day.

Upon arrival I was very excited but also a little nervous.

Being an environmentalist, I was totally impressed with the school’s industrial chic architectual design. Also I loved that the students and staff are given the opportunity to easily recycle with the numerous recycle bins throughout the building.

On my first day I was anxious to meet my class.  I was surprised to learn that many of my classmates had come from around the country to attend the school just as I had.

Coming from a small town the ethnic diversity was a pleasant surprise.

My new classmates were interesting and kind.

I was grateful to have made friends from day one.
