In search of inspiration at the Aveda Institute, I was intrigued by an up-do Sharifa was working on.

When I asked her what else she had in mind for the design she explained how she starts with one idea and just goes with it. As she works with the hair, it evolves with each new idea that comes to her leaving her with a finished look she may not have imagined when she first started.

This method gets her creative juices flowing and just lets her imagination and quick fingers take it away.

I find her creativity and artistic flow with this up-do very inspirational.
