Participating in the “CatWalk for Water” at Aveda Institute jacksonville made us proud because it gave us a chance to be creative and showcase talents before even becoing a student..this gave us a great intoduction to the industry and the Aveda world. That particular runway show ws a great example of the many ways Aveda gives back to mother nature. All of the proceeds were donated to the Restoration of the Gulf Of Mexico as a resul of the 2009 oil spill which devestated the community dramtically. This experiance also gave a us a chance to the follow the amazing mission aveda follows

“Our Mission at Aveda is to care for the world we live in, by the products we make and the ways in which we give back to society, at Aveda we strive to set an example for environmental leadership and responsability not just in the the world of beauty but aroud the world.”

Being able to live this mission everyday within Aveda and Mother Nature makes us proud always and gives us the confidence that we are making a difference in the industry and world!

An event I was part of that made me proud I chose Aveda institute for my education was the Miami dolphins cheerleaders calendar unveiling at liv on south beach. At this event myself and other members of aveda’s editorial team styled the dolphins cheerleaders hair and applied their makeup. It was fun for me especially because I am a dol-fan.

They all looked great for the event and fashion show and I was glad I was able to contribute to the event’s success. I look forward to upcoming events that I will be a part of that will make me even more proud that I chose Aveda.
