Choosing to come to the AVEDA cosmetology school St. Petersburg has definitely impacted my life. It has taught me to take responsibility of my life and my future career.

When I finally graduated in 2008, I always wanted to attend an AVEDA school. I came to tour the beautiful school in St. Petersburg, FL and it was exactly what I expected. Full of smiling people, great aromas, and people learning together as a team to educate each other.

I was finally able to attend my first day at AVEDA Institute in April 2001. I could not get enough of the education and tricks, I couldn’t wait to jump right in. AVEDA has improved my life as a upcoming stylist, student, and as a person. They have taught me to respect the environment, the Earth, everyone else, and myself. In April, I couldnt pick out a style and repeat it on a manaquin. Now, with everything I’ve learned in this short amount of time that I can create any hair style I want on a real person, anything I can think of. The techniques they teach make sense and are very time efficient. All the Stress Relieving Rituals and ands massages help me educate my guests and make a difference in their day. I’m glad all my educators have been there to motivate me through the rough times so far, they keep me positive and keep me going.
