I think the best part about making the guest feel beautiful, is seeing them amazed in the mirror at what you have done for them. Whether it’s their hair or makeup they walk out with an extra jump in their step, feeling rejuvenated. That energy is what I love, it’s what drives me!

Sometimes we are unaware of insecurities in our guest, or may be one or two of them have low self esteem. They walk in like a newborn putting all their trust in us. When they are done, their image is improved and their self esteem has improved and they can finally take little steps in a more promising future. Beauty on the outside heals many things on the inside. I believe that when these two things merge together there’s a fine balance.

One of the greatest benefits of cosmetology is knowing that you can help someone beyond your chair and into their daily life. By educating my guest with beauty school lessons and real-life experiences, they have the knowledge to replicate their look at home, boosting their confidence on a daily basis. As a cosmetology school student and professional, making someone beautiful is an art form which is being projected from our minds onto our guest making it a reality. If the guest is amazed at what you have done to them, that sense of accomplishment is out this world.
