The best part about making a guest look and feel their best is knowing that you played a key role in the life of that individual. First impressions are lasting impressions. When a guest leaves a salon feeling their best, it gives them confidence in themselves. This confidence can go a long way. For some people it could mean landing a job or being overlooked for another applicant. For others, it could give them the confidence to make a great first impression on a first date or even spice things up in long relationships.
The way someone feels about the way the look affects all aspects of their lives. Knowing that, I can have such a major impact on the lives of guest is something that I ca be proud of. This is one of the aspects of the beauty industry that is so appealing to me. That accomplished feeling that everyone in the beauty industry must get from seeing all of there hard work pay off. The most important thing to a cosmetologist at the end of the day I’d say is probably the look on each guest face as they take a look in the mirror and admire their new look you have just created for them. Every time I see that look, I will feel that I have taken another step to improving my work as a stylist.
