My own success at Aveda

by Sara campeau on October 2, 2011

My greatest success at AVEDA has been listening attentively and executing on my mannequin’s head. With an average dose of mistakes, I take in my instructors instructions and do it correctly after. It feels good to learn a stylist’s technique and own it as my own. Learning it teaches me to come up with my own creative touch and building my confidence in myself as an individual and as a stylist. I have been out of school for quite some time and was given the opportunity to attend at AVEDA which has taught me to restructure my educational learning skills. AVEDA has re-taught me diligence, attendance, respect (on a totally different level), and to keep a positive drive with me through the day.

Another great success that I have achieved at AVEDA is how to communicate and interact with people of all types! I had to learn to keep myself professional (calm and collected) in heated moments, teaching myself that there is more to life than disagreements and arguments. I have met some great individuals and I consider that a success at AVEDA because one of the individuals has become a good friend and a great study buddy! I have accomplished quite a bit in the past few weeks on the successful end of AVEDA’s spectrum, but I have a LONG ways to go!!
