Loud music, doing what I’m best at, meeting new faces, exposing my face and talent, dead center of the Boca Mall! The AVEDA Hair Tour we were asked to participiate in during my ‘A1′ phase has got to be right up there as one of all time favorite AVEDA school memories.

We were introduced to some of the big guys, those in charge of major parts of the AVEDA world. We had our work areas set up right next to the center stage, styling hair and educating those interested in AVEDA products. I could definitely do that everyday for the rest of my life.

It was fast paced, the people we worked with had great personalities, and together as a whole we felt important as team.

We had to dress to impress and looking great is so much fun! We got to answer a lot of different questions as we were out marketing and spreading the word about the AVEDA Institutes. More often than not people were really interested in what we do and what we believe. I am very passionate about what I do and when perfect strangers walk up and compliment me, it was very gratifying for someone outside the AVEDA world to be able to pinpoint how passionate and dedicated I am to what I do, even as a cosmetology school student here in Miami.

As long as I know my light is shinning bright I know I am right where I am supposed to be!
