AVEDA Salon Etiquette

by Jayne Fulton on September 15, 2011

Making guests feel welcome at the salon is a top priority at AVEDA cosmetology schools in Florida. Our “Twelve Points of Difference” is what separates us from all other salons. Starting with a welcoming cup of tea or water down to the finishing touch, the beauty school students at AVEDA not only gain the trust of their guest but are almost certain to see that guest again in the future.

I love giving first time guests a “mini” tour of the salon. Seeing the camaraderie between students and students or students and guests gives these first-timers a thorough understanding of how the AVEDA school and salons work.

Very few things are as personal as giving yourself over to someone and trusting them with your hair and makeup. When we, the stylists, educate and empower our guests to recreate their look at home, we make their experience at AVEDA that much more enjoyable. Feeling part of the AVEDA experience, for many guests, is the reason many return. There is something to be said about being a part of a group that, not only cares about the planet, is socially responsible and ecologically minded.

As a guest leaves the salon, with a smile on their face and a more confident walk, we can rest assured that we continue to represent AVEDA proudly.
