Make-up has been my whole life since I bought my first eyeliner in 8th Grade and fell in love with all kinds of make-up. I count myself lucky to be going to the best beauty school in the country, learning all about cosmetology! I also love how I can watch a movie and see all the make-up on the actors and go home just to try it on myself; But if i could do make-up for a blockbuster movie it would be X-Men: First Class.

I would like to do make-up for the movie X-Men: First Class because they have a few different make-up styles that strike my interest. For instance, I would love to work with make-up for January Jones, who partrays Emma Frost, a mutant that can make it cold just by her breath. January Jones’ make-up looks most natual with her light pink lips and her natural eye shadows. It’s beautiful and I know the best cosmetology school techniques for creating such a flawless look! However, the other style of make-up I would like to do for X-Men: First Class would be SFX (Special Effects) make-up. For example, Jennifer Lawrence as Raven/Mystique who plays a mutant that has blue skin and can shape shift. Jennifer’s Make-up consists of Latex, body paint and some theater make-up. Jennifer’s make-up is throughout her whole body and consists of many blues.

Not only do I love the different make-up types at the AVEDA school and in this summer’s blockbuster movie but I would love to be the one doing the make-up in the X-Men: First Class.
