Keep it Stylish and Healthy

Tropical flowers can be a great addition to any summer hairstyle!

As a beauty schools Jacksonville student and budding cosmetology professional, I would suggest keeping hair healthy by using AVEDA’s Sun Care Hair and Body Cleanser. You would be maintaining moisture balance and be removing the salt from your hair. I would also suggest useing AVEDA’s Sun Care Protective Hair Veil. This would help protect your hair from the sun for up to 16 hours. Another good way to keep hair healthy after being in the sun is to use Sun Care After-Sun Hair Masque. This masque is great because it restores moisture and helps repair the damaging effects caused by the sun. It also defends against free radicals.

To keep hair stylish at the beach. You should always rinse the salt from your hair when done in the ocean. Then, just keep it brushed and pulled back with a loose ponytail. You could make it more stylish by putting flowers or a bow into the ponytail. We at the AVEDA school love this look! Another thing to do would be to braid it, possibily into a french braid or a fish tale braid. Another way would be to wear the hair in a bun.

I just always always wash the salt or clorine out of my hair no matter what to keep it that much healthier. As a cosmetology school Florida student, this to me would be a very important step in keeping my hair healthy.
