As a cosmetology student at the AVEDA school, the summer blockbuster film that I would most like to do make-up for would have to be the movie “The Help”. I feel that this would be a great movie because it has an amazing message from a different point of view.

Also because the movie is set back in time and the style was different then it was more natural and I feel that back then they didnt really care about spending all day putting on makeup and the saying ‘less is more’ was very big back then. It was more popular to wear less.

I feel that is was a great message becuase so many people today in this day in age feel that they need to hide behind their make-up instead of just using a little to enhance, so to speak, what they have to work with. I feel that is would be a great way to learn a little bit about other ehtnicities and how make-up works different on their skin and hair.

I feel that it would be a great way to do what I love and to learn alot about history and how woman and men became equal and just about history in general.

To sum it up these are just a few of the reasons as to why I would choose the movie “The Help” as the bockbuster film of the summer as my number one chose to do makeup on. I think it would be a great way to put my beauty school practice into fun and exciting use!
