Styling to fight the Humidity

by Olga Arroyo on June 12, 2011

From shampooing, to prepping the hair, followed by styling products, and your finishing product. If the guest wants that smooth but defined curl, begin with one of my personal favorite shampoo systems, Be Curly. Building a strong foundation with shampoo and conditioner will help give you those tossled yet tamed curls. After I’ve polished the hair, I then like to use the Be Curly Style Prep, which helps my guest’s curls fight against Florida’s humidity and prevent any frizz. ( I love it).

Afterwards I use the Be Curly Enhancer, this is your stlying product, and this is your winner, the champ. Then depending on your guest’s hair texture, you may want to round brush for a bit of smoothness. Or you can finger dry and pin a few curls around the head, just at the crown, to give that wavy, fresh look. To finish with your simple and low maintance style, you may want to add some Air Control hair-spray. It’s a light hold spray with a weightless feel, giving you the complete, finished look. It’s easy and fast, just use the right products, the best tools to achieve the look, and you are good to go. Anyone can recreate the look at home but seem as if you just left the hair salon.
