So of course you’ve seen a number of pictures of the royal wedding: the gown, the hair, the flowers, the hats! How much fun was it to see what all were wearing and the various styles represented! Most were holding their breath in anticipation of seeing Kate’s dress…which definitely didn’t disappoint! Very classic, simple, elegant for such a historical wedding event. But let’s talk hair…!

Kate wore her hair half up, half down with simple curly waves. She had a bit of height at her crown which balanced the tiara she wore nicely. Overall, it was a very safe, clean hairstyle. For such a big event it would have been nice to see a hair style that had more to it. Of course we wouldn’t want to see anything that would battle for attention with her beautiful gown, but something that would be a bit more memorable.

Kate’s dress had a high collar in the back that was lost due to her hair being down. It would have been lovely to see Kate’s hair in a classic up do which would have shown more of her slender neck and more elements of her dress. I would have liked to seen a flowing chignon with loose waves and a few fallen tendrals; would still have the height in the crown and of course the tiara!
