So if I had to give one bit of advice to someone interested in coming to Aveda, is to have an open mind. Its so incredibly easy to limit yourself with your own doubts, and all it will do is hold you back. At some point or another each one of us has experienced this. Its not until you put everything you’ve learned together and see what an amazing job you’ve done, that you realize how worth it everything is, and all that doubt and worrying was for nothing. There is so much potential in every single person here. In our own way we have created something truly beautiful. I know personally, I would have a mental break down once you put shears in my hand, and now in A-2 I know I want to be a cutting specialist. I love cuts. And if I would have held that fear and doubt in my heart, I wouldn’t have ever made it this far. So, if you’re here, and find yourself completely freaking out, stop what you’re doing, breathe and know it will get better, and worrying with doubt wont help with anything. You’ll be amazing no matter what. Good Luck
