My experience at Aveda has enriched my life. It challenges me each day and forces me to push myself to get better and better, not only technically with styling, haircuts, etc but also within myself. Our teachers really care about what they do and helping us succeed. The school is full of smiles and warm, friendly people. It is a pleasure to be a part of a school that stands for so much more than just “the world of beauty”–Aveda gives back in so many ways. With each new phase of study, we are being prepared for our career and learning new things about ourselves. The school takes our education seriously, so this is not a school to attend if you aren’t truly committed to fulfilling your dreams and achieving your goals. If you have the determination and drive, Aveda will bring out the expert in you and really help you refine your skills. Along the way, we form a family with other students and can really count on each other to help us get through the program. I chose to make a career change after spending a few years in corporate sales and I do not regret the choice I made to attend this school.
