The Aveda signature look for hair and skin consists of a clean, fresh looking face with soft muted colors, lips in shades of deep reds, cheeks lightly dusted in plum to neutral flesh tones. Eyes are soft in neutral to warm tones.  The hair is highly polished, with an almost “glass like” shine, hair color shades are natural to highly vibrant. Aveda Red Violets seem to be a favorite. The use of light and Dark Pure Base, makes our hair colors very recognizable. A signature Aveda hair cut for women will often have a blunt perimeter and fringe. A lot of face framing with traditional layers throughout the back. The perimeter is typically concave whether its long hair or a stacked bob. Men’s cuts are very clean and highly polished using classic men’s barbering techniques such as scissor over comb, vertical and diagonal layering. The crown area is usually texturized using point cutting techniques and rezoning. Side burns are clean, and the neckline is primarily trimmed and kept in its natural growth pattern, with some minor cleaning up. The Aveda men’s face is clean shaven for a professional appearance. Nails are natural with no artificial enhancements.
