Three hot trends in Hairstyling
While exploring the exciting field hairstyling, I found some interesting trends that are kind of the “IT” sorta say these days, and you see a lot of these trends coming right out of an AVEDA salon or school. The first trend I’m highlighting is seen by many especially in the entertainment business. It’s fun, edgy, funky, it can be worn spiked, mohawked or have a soft a subtle look. Let’s just say it’s the Rock Starish (well that’s what I call it). This style has been worn by Rhianna, Monica, Willow Smith, Adam Lambert and many more. This hairstyle can be worn so many different ways and that’s why it’s my most favorite.
My next favorite hairstyle would be the classic bob. But it’s not all classic anymore. I’ve been wearing bobs since I was a teenager. As time goes on and stylist become more innovative with creating different looks, something special happens. That something special is reinventing a look and sprucing it up or giving the hairstyle a little tweaking. The bob is a trend that will never get old (if you ask me). Depending on the look you want you can rock this style short or med length, straight and smooth or choppy with lots of texture to it, and it will still give you a different look every time. But it’s still a bob. Victoria Beckham had one of the best bobs ever. Don’t you hate when you’re walking out of a salon and someone has the exact same hairstyle as you!!! Ugh, where’s the creativity.
Another of my favorite trends would be the “ooooh so cute” Pixie haircut. For some reason this haircut seems to bring out the little girl in some who where’s it. It’s gorgeous, chic and yet classic. It gives an innocent yet beautiful essence to one’s personality. It kinda calms a wild child like Pink down when she wears this style. This trend has been around for years, the famous Twiggy wore this style with such grace, like I said she before this style gave her an innocent look. Alyssa Milano wore this cut when she played Phoebe in Charmed. Angela Bassette, Anne Heche, Halle Berry, Charlize Theron and many, many other celebs have rocked this cut and we see people coming out of the salon with this style now more than ever.
